Three time grand slam singles champion and former world #1 Lindsay Davenport will return for her
fourth year for The Wailea Fantasy Camp in Maui, which will be held November 14-18, 2012 at Wailea Tennis Club and
The Four Seasons Resort Maui.
Participants will be treated to world class instruction and match play with Davenport,
Former U.S. Davis Cup Captain Tom Gullikson, Two Time U.S. Open Champion Tracy Austin,
Former ATP Pro Taylor Dent, and USTA National Coach Mike Sell.
"We are pleased to have Lindsay back for our strongest field to date", said Cathy Nicoloff, Director of Tennis at Wailea Tennis Club,
which in February was voted one of the top fifty tennis resorts in the U.S. by Tennis Magazine and #1 in Hawaii.
Adult tennis players from throughout the U.S. and Canada will converge on Wailea for an intense four days of instruction, drills,
video analysis and play with the pro’s that will enter it’s sixth year this fall.
"While the camp caters to players ranging in skill from 3.0-5.0 NTRP" added Nicoloff, "It is not unusual to see current touring
pro’s from both the men’s and women’s tours using the week to train for The Australian Open."
The event is the brainchild of Todd Nicholson of The Player’s Edge Tennis Association, who teamed with
Former U.S. Davis Cup Captain Tom Gullikson and Nicoloff in bringing this event to Hawaii in October of 2007.
The inaugural event featured Former #1 Mats Wilander, Gullikson and Former #1 Doubles Player Jonathan Stark.
