TONY VANSTEEN TOURNAMENT - 2009 |
The Wailea Tennis Club held our second
Tony Vansteen Memorial Tournament
February 14th to 15th, 2009.
There were 96 players that enjoyed playing Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles. The tournament lasted over 2 days of beautiful weather.
Saturday night there was a players dinner catered by everyone's favorite, Hawaii Clambake Catering. There was rolls, salads, corn on the cob,
chicken, steak, and of course, crab. All players received a ticket to be used in any clinic the Wailea Tennis Club offers free of charge.
This is what Tony Vansteen enjoyed, teaching the fundamentals of tennis, the game he loved.
